Dave is a Sissy

I met Mr.Law at Grim CS a few weeks ago, and we got talking about sissy's and number's were exchanged.  I was out of town but when I came back we met up to build a nice little guy for him.

This is as far as we got really before some friends showed up and we wend for a run to Springville.

Jumping on the bikes to eat.

Jump to the next day which turned out to be an all day (12hr) event.  That's a whole different story it self.

A side view of the rack.  pretty simple and clean.  The skate rack is very nice, and the X is really slick.
D.Law Photo bombing the pic of his own bike.

This fender was improvised.  We chopped it a little and I put way too many holes in it trying to mount the stock light.  So those will be patched later.  Next project for D.Law, he wants a new plate mount with a new sleek tail light. I'm sure we'll try to take pictures of the event when it happens.

Oil Tank Extravaganza part 2

Talk about a project.  When trying to get these oil lines set up, we first tried to find bungs that would fit the existing fittings, but then after 4 different places, we just bought all new hoses and fittings from Evco.  Here is the line up below

Fill and drain spout

Now cut in half.

Oh yeah that weld looks like butter.

My proprietary way of checking for leaks.  Ok maybe not, just some dry ice and a bucket of water.

This last pic was a picture of the tank on the bike.  Holy crap we could not of planned it to fit better if we tried.  Oh yeah we only had a few scribbles from Dave, and couple statements "yeah I think here" to go by.
Dave is now off to AZ for his Manufacturing Engineering internship, good luck bro.

Ready to Drill

This is one of the feet for the jig.  All center punched and ready to drill, Brady is coming through with some nice drilling fluid.

Man!

You got laid the effe out!

Base plates

So I couldn't wait to get the base plates machined today. The raw
Stock was so warped that to could practically eat cheerrios out it.
I threw it up on the press and tried to flatten it out some.

Frame jig *update*

Didn't get much done on the frame jig today. I got the neck/axel support plates squared up.hopefully I can get the centers cut out tomorrow then send them back to jared so he can weld them up. After jared does his thing I'll machine the base plates flat.

Biggest waist of concrete in utah county, the american fork bowl...
I don't care if you landed a triple backflip, it's still a scooter...
