Satanik Sissy Bar
Subtle but to the point. This guy makes evil look classy. Very inspiring! The bike is a Honda Shadow of unknown vintage. I stole this pic from a dude on chop cult- who stole it from someone else. See how it beckons devious behavior? Evil shit YO!

Laidies and Genitalmen!
Please welcome the eloquent writings of Mr David Law!
I met Dave a few months ago when Jared welded up this super simple, super cool sissy bar. Since then we have decided to bring him on board with the Two Wheeled Freedom Crew.
Dave is a RULER!

Axle Adjusters
Machined, Drilled, Tapped and burred. All ready to go. All 4 prototypes came out flawless. I can't wait to get two of these hum dingers welded into the CB750 frame.

Jay's new chick puller
1969 Mustang Thoroughbred. He tried to tell me that the only people interested in these bad boys are the Cushman crowd. I say nay... Soon all the hipsters will be riding these and trying to explain why they are better than regular (tried and true) bikes.

Fill'er up son
Ran into this killer econoline at the service station. Turns out the dude that owns it has a motorcycle shop in Provo. That's a heavy duty shop truck you got there.

We had a pretty good day at the shop today. We got the frame lined with the plumb bobs.
Plumb bob showed that we were a 1/4" off center. We got it centered up and locked down and commenced to cutting off all the unnecessary shit.
We started off by scavenging the unusable stuff and using it as a cross brace.
Support brace all tacked in to support the side uprights. Now time to hack off the rear section!
Time to bust out the grinder to clean up the welds and gussets that services are no longer needed.
Holly crap! Sparks are flying out of my head!!!
Once the grinding was done, we used electrical conduit to figure out all our bends. Glad we did being that we had to go back to the drawing board after our first bend...
Portaband is my new favorite toy! Here Jared shows us it ease of use.
While I was grinding, Jared decided to jump start my boys with their welding school. Here he is teaching Strider (13) how to arc weld.
As usual Gavin (11) picked up on it quick!
Back to the build: Once we got the conduit cut and bent the way we liked it we moved onto the tubing. But found that there was a mix up at Barber Metals and they mistakenly gave us the wrong tubing. The O.D. was .06" to big and wouldn't fit into the bender. So after a OCC style argument between me and Jared we jumped in the truck and headed to Barber Metals to get the problem fixed. They were totally cool about it and said that they will have the right tubing in the morning. They kick ass! I highly recommend them if your building a bike and live in Utah county.

Busy day at the shop.
So me and Jared had a pretty productive day today. We met up at 8 in the morning and went on a 3 mile jog. (gotta keep all this tight yo) After that we finished up a few odds and ends on the frame jig.
This is the lower frame rail carrage that locates the bottom rails and keeps it all buttoned down tight.
Here we have the axle plate locators.
Then we stopped at Barber Metals and picked up some speed metal. Soon, this rusted out metal will be flying down the road at like 240 miles per hour! Crazy shit...
We also got material for the new axle adjusters. I'm crazy excited to get these done!
Then we headed over to the shop to disassemble the Psycho 78' and prep it for surgery.
We used a cherry picker to try and simplify the process... No dice... It's still a bitch no matter how you do it.
Oh snap! some one wasn't getting along with this pig...
This is for your eye's only... Nekked frame, I hope your all 18 years old...
So STOKED!!! We got the frame jig done!!! It holds the frame nice and straight. I wish we could have busted the sawsall out and gotten started with the choppin, but we didn't have any plumb bobs on hand and we wanted to make damn sure our alignment was spot on. Tomorrow we are going to cut off all the unnecessary bits. Then we're going to mock it up with conduit so we know where to make all our bends. Being that we were forced into stopping progress on the frame we turned out attention to the computer and geeked out on the design software.
Jared worked his magic and turned my sketch into a 3D cad model. I'm pretty sure he claimed that he hates me at leased 460 times... But I know he has nothing but love for me... :) Now that its done it's off to the period perfect CNC machine for some good old fashion computer numerically controlled machine time... Pre war style! Seriously... There is a reason we don't sand cast shit any more... Because it ain't no good son! Our shit will last yo!

Frame Jiggity Jig
So the other day I was finishing the Jig, and I got only 3 pics off before the camera died. So this is what you get from construction phase, but Brady should have some from today up soon.
Tail Stem |
Neck Stem |
The Legs all drilled and ready to go. |
The Jig is done. |
Levelers, I bit of wobble if you shake it like the dickens otherwise, stable. |
Brady in Jock shorts and ashamed. |
Yep, who would of thunk. |
