I'm replacing fork seals on a 1980 Kawasaki KDX 175. My customer brought it to me to have it freshend up after buying it. The previous owner probably figured the bike was no good anymore and just let it go... Sad because this is a rad off road bike... Once I peeled the fork boots back I was surprised by all the sand crusted to the dust seals. This side had no oil in it at all, and a bunch of sand inside the fork lower.
