So I got this RD 350 two stroke in the shop. I've never heard or ridden one of these bikes so I can not wait to get this thing fired up! I mean this thing has almost the same engine as a Banshee! This thing should sceam. And it has pavement shreading torque induction.
SO I Took my boys to hike Brighton for one last session of the season. Snow conditions kinda sucked, and it was hard for the little groms to carve the crust, but it was nice to be up there. This was back on the 13th, just been to busy to post it.
I'm replacing fork seals on a 1980 Kawasaki KDX 175. My customer brought it to me to have it freshend up after buying it. The previous owner probably figured the bike was no good anymore and just let it go... Sad because this is a rad off road bike... Once I peeled the fork boots back I was surprised by all the sand crusted to the dust seals. This side had no oil in it at all, and a bunch of sand inside the fork lower.
So most people I've talked to seem to have a bike that some how passes through their hands at one point or another that reminds them of purple rain. Here's mine.
I make the nose cone section and the tail section of the GMLRS Missile. Kinda neat to see it all assembled and at full throttle. All I ever get to see of it is the parts I make. Then they get shipped off for someone else to put together. I've never seen a live one. That's one of the reason I put together this shop, so I get to see the end result.
