Fuel Tool= Cool Tool

It's happened to us all.... The second your bike starts sputtering, you reach down to switch to reserve only to find out that you forgot to switch it back to the ON position after re-upping on the petrol...

DAMN-IT! what a kick in the nuts this ride has turned out to be... Oh well, Maybe that creep who's been staring me down while he plays with his belly button won't mind me riding sausage on his bike till we find a gas station so I can get my heap rollin' again.  After all, He is riding a sweet brand spankin new road king. While all my selfish buddies are rollin' chopped out solo Sporties... No way I can ride on the back of their bikes...

Nothing left to do but swallow your pride and ask the dude for a ride to the gas station...

Surprisingly he say's no! And whips around and fishes something out of his hard bag. You wince as he draws his hand out only to find him holding one of these     \/

Now don't you feel silly for being judgmental? How cool for you that this dude was riding a fuel injected Harley? How cool for you that this dude knows his shit and cares about his fellow biker enough to keep one of these bad boys on his bike? Pretty freakin' cool I say!

We all know someone riding a fuel injected Harley Davidson. How about share this link with them? Or how about you and your crew  pitch in some green backs to buy one of these and keep it on your buddies FI bike?

The Fuel Tool will be available at TWFMco the beginning of April. Don't be a dingus, stop in and pick yours up! It's cheap confidence that you won't be stranded on the side of the road due to lack of fuel!

Two Wheeled Tuesday Spring Kickstart

First off, thanks to all who came out to the 2nd TWT!!! You guys made my night! Here's a little recap.
Cody Carrigans perfect FXR
Cody didn't come up with paint scheme so don't hate. Although it makes me want to crank up some Hagar You can't deny how sano this bike is.

 Harley FVCKIN Davidson...
Front brakes and fenders are to sissies...
Someone rolled up in the sickest golf cart. Shit had it's own ball washer. Whats your bike got? A cup holder? WOW... This thing had two of them...
This neat little Iron Head showed up and sucked in a few curious dudes. So many interesting bits and pieces on it without being to kitschy. Everything on it served a purpose. Some stuff was neat just because it's old. This is the first motorcycle the owner has EVER had, let alone build, Talk about baptism by fire. Hallelujah brother!

This Shovel Head sat sooooo perfectly... And looked so right rollin down the road. I tought it was so cool that I could hear his dry clutch at stop lights.

Rake it, Run it.

^^^ Seriously, Doesn't this remind you of why you fell in love with motorcycles?^^^

What the hell?? I ain't ever seen a jockey shifter like that before... That's cuz it ain't one stupid!
It's the start lever... Yeah... start lever...

Mike Law from the famous Law crew showed up with a big ol birdie finger held up to all the HD crowed. And I was happy to receive said birdie finger, so nice to see a little deviation now and again.
How do you cure a lack of back pressure situation? CRAM ol sockets in yer tail pipes!

Rollin in 17 deep! Not to bad...
Bleu's bike^^^  She's the owner of Black Sheep Cafe and the one that puts up with a bunch of bikers coming into her classy joint.
 Limpie
 Spread the word homie.

HE WILL DOMINATE YOU WITH METAL!!!!!

I ate this with a little bit of Slayer, Misfits, and a side of Motorhead. Where else in Utah county can you get this? NOWHERE but the sheep!

After dinner we scoped the rad artwork of local artist Ryan Singer.

At the end of the night it was a hell of a way to kickstart spring time. I'm bummed that this pick turned out so grainy... But he's in the perfect swing of the kick.
This one came out clearer, but i missed the sweet spot of the kick... Second kick and it fired up... So I couldn't nail that perfect kickstart photo. eh, Who cares... It was a damn fun night. Don't miss next months TWT,Third Tuesday of the month. That's 4-17-2012 for all you knuckleheads!

Steven Palmieri is cooler than you.

Steve Palmieri is my hero... And this is why... I first met Steve at White Knuckle Motorsports about 4 years ago. He was stoked on my leather jacket that my wife had pinstriped for me by Stella. And rightly so, Stella killed it on my jacket. But that's not why he's my hero...

He's my hero because he doesn't think he's cooler than you... He doesn't think he's better than you in any way... He's just Steve. He's kinda like The Dude in The Big Labowski. But cooler...
Head over to his house on Saturday and you'll probably find him in pants and flip flops-n-socks. You can give him shit about this and he'll just shrug it off, and tell you it's comfortable while he offers you a beer...Most times you'll find him wearing steel toed work boots and levis. Not Red wings or Vans- He's not the kind of guy that follows trends.

I know, reading about how cool someone is, is about as threatening to your ego as a bully in 6th grade. So I'll stop. But I encourage you, if you ever see this guy, talk to him. He's NOT to cool to talk to you. And he's awesome!

Last weekend he called me all bummed out- Coming home from Black Shep Cafe on our last Two Wheeled Tuesday, his 91 Dyna was cutting out and sputtering. This put him in a shitty mood (but he was still cool to talk to-Just saying)...

After cleaning his carb twice and changing sparkplugs, he figured that his Crane HI-4 was on the skids. So he removed it from the bike.
Not being made of money and in desperate need of getting some Two Wheeled Freedom, He went old school and put a points set up in from his old 1974 Iron head, into his 1991 Dyna. Just so you know this motor never ran points. It came from the factory with an electronic ignition.
The breaker and condenser have been camping out in his tool box for about 15 years. The mechanical advance and backing plate were take offs from his old iron head (circa 94).
Here it is all installed, looks pretty cool if you ask me. And it gets him down the road for the time being. His future plans are to put a Dyna 2000i or a Daytona Twin tec ignition in place of the points. But it just goes to show what a ruler Steve is. It also makes my love for EVO motors grow 10 fold. Lets see you do that on your 15 year old Jap bike... Or 2000 or later TC88 for that matter. Steve (and EVO motors) FLAT KICK ASS!

If you haven't read this article from the hd open road you should. Scooter Tramp Scotty nails it in this article as he expresses his love for the Harley Davidson EVO engines. In short he talks about  how rad EVO's are because they were built for reliability. And how they pretty much saved HD's ass!
